What are the hours of the Highlander Union Building?

Are there ATM's in the HUB?

Yes. Washington Mutual, Bank of America, Service Plus Credit Union and Wells Fargo ATM's are located outside the Latitude 55 Building.

Can people play pool in the HUB?

Yes, the Latitude 55 Building offers three tournament size pool tables. UCR Students can check out pool equipment with their UCR ID and play a game of pool between classes. Pool Tables are available for only $4.00/hour.

Are there video games in the HUB?

Yes, there is a great selection of  XBOX360's and video games available in the Latitude 55 Buliding. Video games can be played for $0.25 - $0.50/game.

Can students play board games in the HUB?

Yes, UCR Students can check out checkers, chess, playing cards, and many more games with their UCR ID.

Is there a Lost and Found for the HUB?

Yes, lost and found items are turned into the HUB Welcome Desk in the first floor lobby from everywhere on campus daily. Items that are not claimed are turned into the Lost and Found at the UCR Police Department.

Is there wireless Internet access for my computer?

The HUB is built for wireless access.

Can I get student escorts from the HUB to walk with me at night?

Yes, the HUB'sstaff at the Welcome Desk will be happy to call the UCR escort service for you during normal escort service hours.

What hours will food be available?

Current food service hours can be found at: dining.ucr.edu

Are there food vending machines?

Not yet, but check back soon.

Where is the main Information Desk for the HUB?

Located in the 1st floor main building, the UCR Welcome Desk is the place to visit for the latest on events and programs taking place in the UCR Student Commons, and all over campus. The Welcome Desk staff is trained to help you find the answers you need. We have general campus information, campus maps, transportation schedules, and campus telephone directories. The HUB Welcome Desk also offers the following services: Arcade Refunds, Email Stations/Printing, Entertainment, Faxing, Information Tables, and Lost & Found.

Can I make copies in the HUB?

Not at this time.

Can I use a computer from the HUB to send emails or print?

 Yes, the HUB Welcome Desk has 22 laptop computers with wireless internet access that are available for students to check out. Black and white printing is also available for $0.10 a page.

Can I send a fax from the HUB?

Fax service is also available at the HUB Welcome Desk.  To receive a fax, the fee is $1.00 per page. To send a fax, the fee is $1.50 for the first page and $1.00 for each additional page. International calls are $2.50 the first page and $1.00 each additional page. The HUB fax number is 951.827.5702.
